KOARO PACKRAFT - SELF BAILER
The Koaro Self Bailer is your easy entry and exit option - perfect for scouting or portaging. Great for warmer days - be prepared to get wet! Two drainholes on either side of the boat ensure that water finds a way out.
Optional: add a storage zipper to allow you to store your gear in two dry bags inside the tubes. (See drop-down list)
This Koaro comes with a comfortable inflatable floor mat as well as a clip-on seat ensuring that your feet are lower than your bottom. Also included are an inflation bag, 4 attachment points and a repair kit.
Design
All our packrafts are designed to be light enough to be transported in your backpack while exploring the backcountry over a couple of days. The Koaros are tough enough to transport one person with a heavily loaded backpack (up to 50kg) down fast-flowing rivers. They are super stable and easy to handle.
Mix and match: Our rafts are custom-made to meet everyone’s personal needs. We can add zips for storage, attachment points, thigh straps, spray decks and self-bailing floors. For the lightweight freaks amongst us we can build a raft with a thinner fabric. Check out the size chart in the gallery above and chose your size (Model).
The Koaro rolls up small (the size of a two-person backpacking tent).Tech Specs
The tubes are made of 210 D Nylon with TPU coating on both sides. All tubes are stitched and seam-taped on both sides for extra durability.
The floor is 840D Nylon with TPU coating on both sides and glued onto the tubes. Available 420D on request.
The weight of a Koaro packraft varies between 1.5kgs (light weight option) and 3kg. Weight depends on Model, Size and Ad-Ons.
Packing Dimension: 20cm x 50cm.Thanks to the internal padding (mat) the boat is more stable and rigid which makes for better gliding and better surfing.
